Your Gateway to Mystical Treasures and Alchemical Wonders.
Tribute to the Celtic god Cernunnos, this golden statuette embodies the ancient spirit of the forests. A symbol of transition, cycle, and wild power, it finds its place on altars, in cabinets of curiosities, or ritual spaces. Made of resin, it evokes ancient druidic sanctuaries.
In the forgotten folds of primordial forests, where trees speak in silence and mushrooms trace circles beneath the moon, a presence lingers. It has no single name, but bears a thousand faces, a thousand breaths. Among the Celts, it was called Cernunnos. Others simply named it “The Horned One,” “Lord of the Wild,” or “Master of the Thresholds.” This statue pays tribute to it — an incarnation of the forest’s ancient spirit, a god of cycles and regeneration, of beasts and telluric forces.
Its appearance is neither entirely human nor entirely animal. The body rises as if sculpted from a tendril of energy and wood, undulating in a movement frozen by resin, like mist caught in frost. Its gaze is calm and ancient, the antlers spread into a sacred fan of cosmic antennas. Upon its massive horns hang cloths, shreds, perhaps offerings, or ritual remnants left behind by those who once dared to commune with invisible powers.
The details are strikingly rich: each fold of the swirling robe seems to capture a breath of ancestral wind; the curved antlers bear the trace of ancient forces, twisted by the ages. At the feet of the deity, small red amanitas — sacred mushrooms with many interpretations — punctuate the scene like psychotropic beacons, guides to other levels of consciousness.
Though made of resin, the object is finished with a matte gold plating that gives it an aged, patinated glow, as if unearthed from an abandoned druidic temple or rediscovered pagan sanctuary. The texture, soft yet intricate, offers a pleasant grip but also invites silent contemplation. It is a piece that speaks to those who see beyond shapes, who feel the vibration of ancient stories within objects.
This statuette can be used in various contexts: as a centerpiece on an altar dedicated to nature or wild forces, as a focal object during forest meditations, or as a protective talisman in a space for divination, herbalism, or magic. It will also find its place in a cabinet of curiosities, among skulls, vials, and other occult relics.
Please note that the wooden base shown in some photos is not included. It is an alchemical staging specific to L’Emporium Alchimique, used for aesthetic purposes. This leaves you free to place Cernunnos in the ritual or decorative setting that suits you best.
Cernunnos is not an idol to be worshipped. It is a presence to be welcomed. A living memory of the sacred bond between humans and the forest, between the visible and the invisible. It reminds us that magic is not only learned from books, but also from humus, stone, bark, and night.
